In this workshop the participants use a 12” mannequin to design and create their very own super hero! Do they fly? What super powers do they have? Do they live on this planet? We also know that super heroes don’t only exist in the movies, there are plenty of them in our day to day lives. Why not invent a character based on someone from your town or village who has done something amazing!? The choice is yours and the options are endless. Who will you design?

This family friendly workshop is ideal for ages 6+. It will be your chance to explore into the realms of character invention and costume design using templates to cut your fabric and dress your Hero. The workshop can take from 1.5 – 2.5 hours depending on the ability of the participant.

You will take away a fully dressed mannequin and will learn the basics of character design and work with fabrics and colour. There will also be the option create a story/poem about your character.
