March 23rd & 24th at The Old Vicarage, Moylegrove
Weekend course £260
One day workshop £130
A two-day course learning needle felting with Ruth on Saturday and bookbinding with Carole on Sunday. Learn from two very talented tutors as they guide you through the tricks of their trades.
Felting with Ruth
Come for a fabulous two days of making and make loads of wonderful things. If you cant make both days then it is possible to choose just one of the days.
On Saturday morning you’ll be needle felting adorable and quirky cat brooches. After a delicious lunch, the afternoon will be spent making a cute and tiny felted teddy. Ruth will teach you all the necessary techniques to create both unique woolly characters.
Bookbinding with Carole
On Sunday make an A5 casebound sketchbook with artists quality, acid free cartridge. In just the one day Carole will teach you all the necessary techniques to create a beautiful volume of your own design. The functional hardback covers will be decorated with your own choice of hand-made or hand-printed paper before the spines are reinforced and bound with a matching cloth binding. Finishing touches include reinforced corners, place markers and endpapers.
We will be running our weekend workshop at The Old Vicarage, Moylegrove, West Wales. The B & B has a wonderful atmosphere and décor and we will be using the spacious and beautifully decorated dining room for our workshops.
As a special treat, why not come a little early and book in and have a nice break before (and/or after) your course? You can book one of the lovely rooms at the B & B and Meg has provided us with a special deal and is offering the rooms with a 10% discount on their normal rate.
The price per person for a shared room would be £40 per person, per night including breakfast. For single occupancy in a private room with ensuite and breakfast the price would be £80 per night. If you would like to eat in the evenings that can also be arranged separately with Meg. Just email Meg at email@example.com or phone her on 01239 881711 and let her know you’re coming on the March weekend workshop and she will deal with your booking directly.
So, what more can we say? A stay in a beautiful part of the world. A sleep in a comfy room, delicious food, great company AND two new skills!
