September 29th at Llangadog Village Hall. Ever fancied trying out traditional upholstery? We’re running a one-day workshop with Mick Sheridan. Learn from the great Master himself and upholster a bespoke ash milking stool using Welsh woollen fabrics from a choice of Melin Tregwynt or Cambrian Wool. The seat cover will be stuffed with horse-hair and hand stitched to a piped edging.
All materials required to upholster your locally made milking stool are included in the course fee. A spacious work area is allocated to each student along with their own set of tools to use while they’re here. A plentiful supply of tea, coffee and afternoon cake is provided.
Have a look at photos and videos below or read full course details here.
